British Orienteering Federation

The British Orienteering Federation, often branded British Orienteering, is the national governing body for the sport of orienteering in the United Kingdom. The federation was founded in June 1967, and is a member of the International Orienteering Federation (IOF).

The British Orienteering Federation’s vision is focused in three main areas:

  1. To see more people participating in orienteering.
  2. To increase the number of venues where orienteering takes place, making it more accessible to the public.
  3. Winning more medals at international events.

Martin Digby is a qualified coach with the British Orienteering Federation.
