The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) has been running since 1956, and is dedicated to the development of young people from all backgrounds. It has the widest reach of any UK youth charity with 275,000 young people undertaking DofE programmes each year.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award has Bronze, Silver and Gold levels which are each split into several sections – Volunteering, Physical, Skills, Expedition and Residential (Gold only). The fantastic thing is that each participant has a great deal of control over what they do – meaning that they can choose activities that interest them.

Martin Digby is an Approved Activity Provider (AAP) for the DofE and able to deliver the Expedition section of the Award at Bronze, Silver and Gold levels.
