Castle House School at the Adventure Ropes Course

Castle House is an independent day school in Newport for children between the ages of 2 and 11. As part of their end of school year celebrations, the parents arranged a number of activities and treats, especially for the Year 6 pupils that will be leaving the school at the end of term, to move up to senior school.

Today, the parents arranged a picnic on the school grounds, which seems to have gone down well from what the kids told me. They were then picked up by 3 limousines to transport them to the Adventure Rope Course to spend the afternoon with myself and Adam. As you might expect, by the time they arrived at the Adventure Rope Course, they were high as kites after their limousine experience and it actually took a while to drag them out and get them kitted up.

I must admit that I was a little concerned that they might be too excited to listen to important instructions. However, they managed to calm down enough to make things safe and were actually fantastic fun to work with for the afternoon. During their time with us, they experienced the High All Aboard, the Adventure Tunnels, the Parachute Simulator, a few ground based Team Tasks and the Giant Swing.

However, that wasn’t all. Having finished at the Adventure Rope Course, they headed into the Albrighton Hall Hotel to get ready for a fancy dinner as well. What a day!
