Active Adventures Holiday Programme Finalised!Jun 6th, 2011 | By Martin Digby | Category: General
Over the last few years, we have been developing a holiday programme of activities for the whole family. The aim has always been to make outdoor activities more accessible for a wide age range. In our efforts to achieve this, we’ve tweaked the programme each year and are always eager to hear your comments and suggestions.
This Summer’s programme has just been finalised. The details can be found by following the Active Adventures link in the left hand column of the main Martin Digby website. Like last year, we have sessions of Canoeing, Rock Climbing, High Ropes, Archery and a Mountain Walk on offer. However, this year we are opening all the sessions up to the full age range rather than having separate adult and child sessions.
The Mountain Walk will be an all day event, once we allow for travel time over to Snowdonia and back, but all the other activities will be 2 hour sessions. At the moment, we’re just advertising morning sessions (10am-12noon) but, if there is sufficient demand, we’ll look into the possibility of running a second session in the afternoon. Keep an eye on the website for updates.
In our efforts to keep these activities as accessible as possible, we have kept the prices as low as we can. For example, we’re offering 2 hours of Canoeing for £15 compared to £28 charged by most providers; Archery for £10 compared to £20, and an all day Mountain Walk for £30 compared to £70. If you have an interest in any of these activities, Active Adventures gives you the opportunity to have a go at bargain prices!
